Mulled Bourbon Apple Cider

Mulled Bourbon Apple Cider is a perfect way to warm up on a crisp autumn night.

Growing up in the south sometimes Fall was a fleeting moment between the beach and winter. Passing quickly in the night as to not be discovered. But that didn’t stop me from loving absolutely everything about the Fall, even if that meant cranking the AC up and turning the fire place on.

Apple cider encompasses everything delicious about this time of year and it was always a treat to have as a kid. Now as an adult, I get to enjoy an even better version that I absolutely love.

What makes this cozy drink even better is how quickly it comes together.

  • Start by placing all of your ingredients in a small pan over medium heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Combine your Bourbon, I recommend Woodford Reserve, with your apple cider mixture, garnish and serve.

If you aren’t a huge fan of Bourbon you can even use cognac or brandy. The options are endless.
