Hello There! Welcome to my little nook. Let me introduce myself. My name is Cassandra and I am the cook, the baker, the blogger, the photographer and all around do it yourself girl behind Caviar and Cupcakes. I am glad you stopped by. Let me take a minute to tell you a little bit about myself.

I am a full time working wife and mother of two beautiful kids. As a born and raised Southern girl, we love to eat and have people over. My husband likes to say he knew I was the girl for him because I wasn’t afraid to eat. Growing up I watched all the amazing women in my life create delicious meals for our family and friends. I have continued on with the tradition and I hope to it pass down to my own kids one day.

As a young girl, I decided I wanted to be the first woman President of the United States of America. That desire lead me to getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science followed by my Juris Doctorate. I am a licensed attorney, but have found other ways to use my experience and education with a career that I love.

Having two young kids keeps us busy, and sometimes it is hard to find time to get a home cooked meal on the table. I love finding tricks to make meals stretch for days. Meal prepping on the weekend and then adding one or two new things during the week can make one meal last all week long.

Cooking is a passion of mine, I learn by testing out recipes and researching techniques. I enjoy sharing my experiences and what I learn along the way. Self taught and still learning is how I get around the kitchen. I hope to inspire you to make delicious meals of your own.
