Holiday baking is a longstanding tradition in our family. Everything from delicious cookies to sweet and decadent chocolates. We often times mix in something new just for the fun of it.
A few years back we decided to try our hand at snowball cookies. They are now officially part of our Christmas Cookie tradition.
There are so many varieties of snowball cookies, some made with pecans that are similar to a pecan sandie with the addition of powdered sugar on the outside. We decided to go with walnuts.
The walnuts give these cookies a deep rich flavor which, when combined with the butter, provide a real feel of indulgence.
With very few ingredients and simple steps, this cookie is a perfect addition to your Holiday Bake Day!
